Mike Cowbrough

Mike Cowbrough has been the Weed Specialist in Field Crops for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs since 2002. His work focuses on providing tools and resources to help Ontarians manage weeds. He obtained both BSc. (Agr) and MSc. Degrees at the University of Guelph. In addition to his role with the Ministry, Mike also has Adjunct Faculty status in the Department of Plant Agriculture at the University of Guelph. He resides on the family farm north west of Guelph with his wife and daughter.

2012 T.R. Hilliard Award for Agricultural Extension in Ontario
